Nice inside, although some wall paper falling from the ceiling loses a star. Attentive staff and quality pub food. We were pleasantly surprised and will return again.
Typical "Olde English Inn", like any other in the chain. Ok selection of beer, appalling selection of cider (for Somerset especially). I have eaten there before, and it was very good, but not on this occasion, so cannot comment. Seems to lack front of house presence.

We had a lovely stay in a great location with excellent hosts. Martin was very friendly and helpful. He didn't even seem to go out of his way when he was trying to make sure we felt comfortable and all our requests were accommodated. He's also a breakfast master!
A truly beautiful family home run by Melanie and Martin, offering some of the most comfortable and tastefully furnished accommodation in Somerset with the added bonus of one of the best breakfasts to be found in the South West. Enjoy!

A proper local pub with a great vibe. Apparently converted into a pub in the early 1900s, it's an old house from the Victorian age. Inside there's a bar area and a separate restaurant area. The pub retains all its character, with bare walls that have been stripped back to uncover wallpaper from previous eras. Super friendly staff and locals and incredibly accomodating. Highly worth a visit if you're passing through.

Всё очень хорошо. Уютно и приятно глазу, хозяева живут рядом, очень здоровская атмосфера. Только там нет вайфая. Однако он есть у хозяев, поэтому, в случае чего, можно сходить к ним. Вообщем, рекомендую для отдыха на природе 👍🏻

If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
